Reviews and Ratings
Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit tired but acceptably clean and boasted a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom, although an unpleasant smell lingered. The service was good, especially in the evening, and the staff were kind and professional. The location provided easy access by car, but the absence of nearby takeaway shops was a downside. The dining experience was fantastic with ample vegetarian options, and the home-baked Alentejo bread stole the show. The facilities were decent, though some areas need improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-equipped with tea and coffee facilities, but they had a tired look and poor ventilation which caused an unpleasant smell. Accessing the room via dangerous concrete steps was a downside.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, while a bit tired, were acceptably clean, although a thorough vacuuming would have been nice. The compact size was fine for me, and the bathroom was decent. The location was ideal for my cruise trip to Southampton, but the surroundings could use a little sprucing up. The service was friendly and professional, and the dining experience, although not perfect due to limited breakfast availability, was quite good.
